Hello, I’m Charlie. I am so happy to be in a home again. Did you see the video of me playing in the snow? I just love running around and playing fetch. I think I may have too much energy for the older dogs, but my foster mom plays with me. I had a home, but in July my family dropped me off in a shelter in southern Indiana. I am so glad that I have the chance to be able to have a new home. I am a very good boy. I am housebroken, crate trained and I know a few commands. I am 3 ½ years old, but I act like a puppy sometimes. I get these burst of energy and just want to run and jump and play. My foster mom thinks I may be a mix of lab/boxer/basenji. She found a picture that looked just like me and it was a mountain cur. I walk pretty well on a leash and listen to what I am told. My foster mom says that I am very smart and have intelligent eyes. I like kids and everyone I meet. I am working on not jumping on people which I only do if I am really excited. I don’t know what a cat is, so I can’t promise you that I won’t chase it.
