Let's give a big welcome to adorable Jessey. Jessey is an all white petite 6 1/2 pound Chihuahua looking for her forever home.

Jessey has an adorable personality. She is a HUGE lover. She loves people, she loves other dogs, she loves toys .... we think this little girl loves everything! It is appropriate that she has come to CRT right before Valentine's Day!

Jessey is about a year old. She has outgrown the very young puppy stage, so you do not have to worry about her chewing on shoes, etc! But she still has the energy of a young, vibrant little girl. This youngster is full of love and life. She loves to play with other dogs, so if you have other small dogs in your home, she would love that. She also loves to play with toys. She will grab her toy, shake it, throw it up in the air and catch it, beg you to throw it for her .... she really enjoys getting a daily dose of her toys! She also enjoys the outdoors - she will sniff around your backyard when you let her out to potty, etc. She is quite the explorer.

When Jessey is done playing with her other dog siblings and toys, she just wants to be with her humans. Her nickname is "the Velcro" dog because she will follow her humans around to be part of the pack! She wants to know what you are doing, and if there is anyway she can participate or help you! She does enjoy cuddling with you at night when you watch TV!

Jessey is smart. She is already potty trained and only has had one accident in the home (that was the first week when she arrived as she did not know where the back door was or what the routine was. She should pick up on your family routine quickly - she did in the foster home. She is also crate trained. She will sleep in her crate at night (although would probably enjoy sleeping in the human bed if you want her to) and also will stay in a crate without any issues if you need to be gone for a few hours running errands.

There is one habit that her new family will need to be careful of. Because of Jessey's love of being with you (remember the "velcro" part?), she will follow you right out the front door! She is not doing it to escape, she is doing it because she wants to be with her people, so she is ready to go when you are. The new family adopting Jessey might want to think about a nice gate or fence by the front door (there are some really nice ones that you can order online that go great with your home decor and are low cost, but extremely safe for small dogs).

We are hoping that an active family adopts Jessey. She has alot of energy and loves to play. We think she will love to go for daily walks (it has been too cold for us to walk her yet!). She loves people, children, and other dogs. So if you are looking for a great family member to fit in and bring alot of joy, please consider Jessey!

Jessey is spayed, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. She is ready to join a loving family - could that family
be yours?
