Koda is a awesome boy everyone that meets him falls in love such a handsome Hunk plush coat a huge fluffy tail that curls up
Koda is a very sweet 3 yr old boy about 90-95 plus healthy pounds with a a big kind heart
he's very smart too making lots of eye contact he's a kind hearted boy and would love a committed for life family of his own that is super loving and down to earth
he would also be great as a best buddy to a man or woman he does prefer a kind and gentle but strong leader that also is able to handle a dog his size though he's easy he is a big dog
loves to go for car rides, loads right up, will just lie down in back seat, loves being petted and loves to play tug of war besides swimming any chance he gets so a pool pond etc be wonderful for him or weekly swim sessions at a lake etc
He's a inside dog with play and potty outside only , he would love a huge fenced yard or fenced acerage running alongside romping with a fem dog his size or running with his human being by their side helping with chores etc
We do not know how much of a livestock guardian he is but he may have some in him even though he's a mix but he's not just mellow doing nothing he is mellow and gentle but also loves to play and romp with dogs that where introduced right he has no problem with other dogs if intro right but does prefer similar energy fem dogs not hyper dogs he does not like the crazy puppy energy
If there are kids at home one or two nice respectful kids over 10 years will be fine
He has lived with a 3 and 12 yr old child in prev. home,we prefer over 10 yrs if kids at home that have learned to be respectful to animals and old enough to run and play with him, he has been playing with a 13 yr old girl for the past month at foster and loved it
Koda man as I call him loves to eat burger and good human food he also loves the soft treats like chicken jerky and dog cookies
Koda loves to go for long hikes in nature but has zero problems in city or crowded places
does not mind bikes passing, strollers, etc
he's fine passing other dogs but seems a tad too interested in some of the small dogs at times
Koda is looking for a calm home but active enough to go for at least an hour walk a day and playtime he's calm if you are if you're in a hyper mood he can get like that too but we usually don't get the dogs all hyped up
If you feel you have most if not all of the above please apply Koda would love to have his own family he's a beautiful dog everyone looks at him wants to pet his very soft coat
you will need a furminator brush if you don't want a lot of fur in your home he is shedding
with a plush coat like he has but can easily be brushed daily to keep that in check, he loves being brushed
