Hattie's Story...
Hattie is a 12 week old Cattle dog mix pup. Tending to be more reserved than her siblings, you'll find Hattie asleep away from her family instead of taking part in the puppy pile. She's still quite friendly, enjoying ear rubs and giving kisses, but she does like to have some alone time, like lounging around the shade of a tree.

Like any puppy, Hattie will chew, and she will need to be housebroken. She'd like a fenced in yard, but plenty of walks would work as well.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hattie, a Ocala Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog for sale in Ocala, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog puppy from a breeder in Ocala.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ocala already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ocala breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ocala paves the way for another one to be saved.
