My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Bridgett, and I'm a Bird Dog!.
As a purebred German Shorthaired Pointer, I'm the best of the best at helping my humans catch them birds!
I even stalk them like a leopard!

My foster family believes that I am less than a year old, but I like to keep my age a mystery!
On a dark night several weeks ago, I was lost on the streets when a big bus came to a screeching stop right in front of me.
I was scared so I started running (you see, it's what I do best!), and people started chasing me for some reason. After 30 minutes of being chased by some guy with a big mustache, I finally gave in and went home with him. Now I realize that he saved my life!
This mustache, whom I know is my guardian angel, tried really hard to find my parents. But it seems they abandoned me :(
So here I am, ready to find a forever home and charm them with my good looks and affectionate, energetic ways.

I am spayed, up to date on shots, and have a microchip.
I am potty trained and love to be with my family all the time, whether they be inside or outside.
You see, I'm a 47 lb lapdog, and I love to spend my time cuddled either on your lap or right next to it.
My foster family says I give the best hugs in town!
I am very athletic and light on my feet...you should come watch me one of these days at the park!
I am social, and I do well with other dogs. I just don't like when other dogs have no manners, or try to dominate me.

At the moment, I would prefer to be the only dog in the house. I am in a foster home where I am learning to be around new dogs and even a cat! I have not mastered the patience with a cat yet, but I am working on it.

I am very smart, and I have a strong, patient will. I never give up, and that's what makes me so good at hunting! I need parents that understand this and will be patient with me when it comes to training, but I catch on very quickly.
I LOVE to exercise. I am great for runs and hikes and walks and camping trips. I'm impressive on them mountains!

If you would like to meet me, or simply experience one of my AMAZING hugs, contact my foster parents Erik (347)889-8397@ minasm14@gmail.com and erikhansenwong@yahoo.com.
