Loki's Story...
Hi! My name is Loki. I am a 5 year old pug who needs his forever home. I love to play with my human foster siblings. As soon as I see them I like to roll on my back and show them that I like my belly rubbed. At night I love to snuggle my humans in bed. My foster mom says that I am a blanket hog, but I say that I am just nesting.

I am heartworm positive, but I will be having my treatment soon. I am housebroken and do really well in a crate. My foster mom leaves the door open and I just walk right in. It is a space to call my own, like a bedroom. I love to play with balled up socks and pretty much anything that squeaks.

If you think that I would be a good fit in your life please make sure to fill out an application and bring me home. I would really love to be in my forever home very soon. If you want to meet me, make sure that you stop by some of the adoption events we have and say hello!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Loki, a Austin Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Austin, or seeking a Pug dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
