My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Flower continues to blossom in rescue. She will now take treats from her foster mom’s hand, which is a big step forward. Flower LOVES to be outside. She really enjoys running in the back yard or going on walks. She is working hard on a weight loss program. Last weigh-in was 66.5 pounds which is down from 85 when she came into rescue. She has learned that green beans and bits of banana are really yummy. Flower is not a wall-flower at our adoption events. If someone comes in and starts petting another dog, Flower will barge in-between that person and the other dog to get attention. She still has some quirks, and may always have them. She won’t usually go through a doorway (to another room or to/from outside) if you are standing too close or in her way. She doesn’t like to eat if you are watching her. Loud noises or sudden movements startle her and she’ll run and hide. She wishes her foster mom didn’t drop her cell phone so often. Flower’s forever home must have another dog, who will continue to help build her confidence. She often forgets that she’s scared when she’s with the other two goldens at her foster home. She’ll barge through a doorway with them by her side, even if someone is in the way. She usually sits between them when it is time for treats. Flower has come a long way, and is looking for a forever family who will continue to help bring her out of her shell.
