Farrah's Story...
Hi! Our names are Jacklyn and Farrah. We are looking for a loving, forever home together. We are young ferrets and do some serious power napping. We enjoy time out of our cage but it should be supervised as we get into a lot of mischief! We use our litter box most of the time but still have a few accidents. Our litter box will need to get changed daily. We require a multiple –level cage so we have lots of room to stretch and explore. We would love a home with ferret experience but if you are willing to do your research and commit to taking care of us for the rest of our lives – that would be great too. If you would like to get to know us better, please stop by Whatcom Humane Society to meet us.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farrah, a Bellingham Ferret was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ferret for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Ferret from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ferret breeders who help with Ferret rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
