Jenny's Story...
Everyone say hello to Jenny!

Jenny's mom, January (Pictured above), was found roaming around a rough part of town on a snowy night. She was cold and hugely pregnant. One of our volunteers picked her up and gave her a cozy spot to have her puppies. Jenny and her 6 siblings were born on 1/12/14 and are thriving.

Mama January is great with other dogs, cats and children of all ages - even with puppies! She and her puppies will be available for adoption in about 5 weeks.

Please contact us at Thefortrescue@gmail.com if you are interested in Jenny.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jenny, a Asheboro Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Asheboro, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) puppy from a breeder in Asheboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Asheboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Asheboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier/Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Asheboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
