MEET MISTY - NEEDS FOSTER OR ADOPTER ASAP!

Misty is a sweet and loving female pittie mix pup that is about 6 months old. She has very unique coloring - light grey and tan pastel brindle with a little white down her chest and tummy. She is great with other dogs (see her photo cuddled up next to her foster dog-brother), and loves kids! She is very friendly and will meet and greet everyone with a wagging tail! We are not sure how she would be in a home with a cat - she did meet a cat while at a temporary foster and was ok, she wanted to play/chase, but showed no signs of aggression. She would likely do best in a home with another dog to be her buddy or someone that is home a lot, since being a young pup she would Not be happy being left alone for hours on end. She will be a great addition to a matching loving family!
UPDATE: Misty was recently in a foster home and had been doing great! However, unfortunately her foster dog-brother is ill and now he needs to be the only dog in the house, so Misty had to go to temporary boarding which is hard on a young dog (her foster Mom was tearful having to say goodbye to darling Misty, she is such a great dog!) Misty really needs a new foster home or preferably an adopter to give her a loving forever home as soon as possible! Since she is still a puppy, she would do best in a home that is committed to continue to work on her training and has a lot of time to spend with her, and possibly a compatible doggie companion.
This is what her previous foster Mom had said about her:
"Misty is a very playful easy going puppy.... she loves being with her foster dog-brother (a male pittie mix - see them cuddling together in the photos) and our kids! She loves to snuggle on the couch and lick you to death! We are still working on potty training and she is doing very well. She also minds us very well. Sometimes I hear her run upstairs in the girls' room while I am downstairs and I yell to her to come down, and she darts right down! She also is a typical puppy and so for now you can not leave your shoes out or else they likely will become her chew toy!
(Note: Through this typical puppy stage, continuing more training etc is going to be important for her to be the best canine citizen she can be).
Misty loves her walks and loves children. She cracks us up because sometimes she feels like she is never close enough to you. She has a very sweet disposition and seems to be a happy-go-lucky girl. She is in no way trying to be the leader of a pack and pretty much follows our dog's lead. I am not sure about how she would do with cats because we do not have one."
More About Misty's Background Story: This young Pit Bull puppy was found in SoCal and was to be taken to Redlands Shelter by a woman who wanted Misty to have a chance for adoption! However, instead she was taken to another SoCal shelter where Pits do not have a good chance of getting out. The good news is she was sprung from there just in time and was transported to us in NorCal - but now she needs a foster home or better yet a forever home, a boarding facility is hard on a young pup. She is super friendly and good with other dogs!
