DOB January 12, 2012.

Marlin is quite the lady. She is proper and poised, with a beautiful warm-carmel undercoat that she grooms regularly. Rescued from a home of 120 cats, she remains a little reserved and skittish. That doesn’t keep her from being tempted by treats and gentle pets. She can be found lounging on the radiator, curling up in a blanketed corner, or surveying the outside world by the window. Sometimes she can be found trying to crawl into the fridge, rummaging for elastic bands, or investigating new smells... This is a good sign that this girl is still coming out of her shell and has a curious streak. The best influence she has had is her best friend (possibly sister) Joon, whom she was rescued with. The two love to play and chat. This lovely girl would be so grateful to be adopted with Joon and welcomed into a quiet home with patience and warmth.

Together, Marlin and Joon are quite content being alone at home for long hours of the day, just as well as they enjoy the company of their owner. Because they are still learning to trust people, a quiet environment and a patient owner(s) would be beneficial for these two. It is ideal that they get adopted together as they bring out the best in each other and have grown to make up for each other’s shortcomings. Because they have each other for support, they will warm up quite quickly and will make a wonderfully fun and charming addition to their new home.
