Schatzi's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Schatzi's Story...
I am a female Husky/Labrador Retriever/Australian Shepherd mix. I am almost 3 years old. I came in with my sister Faith, and I would prefer to stay with her as we are a bonded pair. We could be separated, but it would take quite a while for us to adjust. I don't seem to like smaller dogs. My original owners were being deployed to Hawaii and couldn't afford the quarantine costs of bringing me and my sister Faith, so they brought us here to Dreampower. They wanted us to have a good home. If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.dreampoweranimalrescue.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Schatzi, a Colorado Springs Husky/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Colorado Springs, or seeking a Husky/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Colorado Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Colorado Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Colorado Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Colorado Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
