Stella is a tiny 8lb Chi mix, we think it's Italian Greyhound given her shape. She is literally the best little dog we have ever had in our rescue in 9yrs of operation. Stella was originally found on the side of a highway in rural Georgia, almost 2lbs, so starved she was on the brink of death, a wonderful woman saw her and brought her home. Despite this, she was a happy wiggly, playful girl who loved all people, cats and any other dog! She had to go through heartworm treatment a couple of months later and did well, got some weight on her and now she is with us and ready for her forever home. Please note, Stella absolutely has to sleep in bed with you under the covers at night, this is what she knows and loves but it's not a problem because she's smaller than most cats :) It seems she was trained on pee pee pads, but is doing excellent going outside despite this cold weather. She has a few coats and it's mandatory that she have one on even inside because her tiny little frame needs it due to the shortest hair possible for a dog. Stella is EXTREMELY loved by all of the people involved in her rescue and we must be extra strict in finding her the best, forever home anyone could imagine. She will extremely hard to let go of after all she has been through. She is the cutest, sweetest little dog you will ever meet and beside a short term fear of strange men (she gets over it very quickly), she is so cuddly, loving and loves to sleep in your lap when you are watching TV but she also LOVES to play when you ask, a couch potato and a playful girl as well.
