My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Oreo is a 1 year old male Mini-Aussie that weighs 20lbs. This adorable black and white Mini-Aussie will make a great addition to your family. Oreo loves other dogs and has been enjoying the company and playtime with his foster siblings. His favorite activity is fetching! When playing his favorite game of fetch he will bring the ball back, drop it for you and wait for the next throw. Oreo loves cuddling as much as he loves playing with his foster siblings, playing fetch or going on walks. He is definitely medium energy and he can entertain himself playing with his Kong Wubba.

Oreo is housebroken and will go into a crate. He loves a good rawhide or antler and has never chewed any of the foster’s belongings. Oreo knows sit, stay and come when called. He is working on his loose leash walking and his foster is confident he will master it soon, for he is a smart boy.

Oreo is a pure delight to have around! From his cute little noises when he is excited to his happy super powered wiggle butt when you come home. Speaking of the wiggle butt…… This little guy puts all 20lbs into that Aussie wiggle! He is a mild temperament (very easy going) “Velcro” Mini- Aussie with zero aggression.Oreo is great with children too!

He has not been introduced to cats so Foster can not comment on his cat temperament. While introducing him to friends dogs for play groups or going to the dog park he can be skittish of large rambunctious dogs (50 lbs plus). He will cower, not get aggressive, so any large dogs would need a thorough introduction.

Oreo is being fostered in St Louis, Missouri. If you are interested in adopting Oreo, please complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION today by visiting www.aussierescuemidwest.org!
