My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

10/27/07: Heidi is a precious Cocker Spaniel that was surrendered by her owner. Thankfully she is in a foster home right now getting the attention and TLC she deserves. Her foster parent is still getting to know her, but has stated the following (thus far) :
"Heidi would fit in well with an older couple or single woman who could give her one on one attention. She does well with other dogs but would prefer to be an only dog. She is a sweet dog who is housebroken, walks well on a leash and loves to ride in the car."

Heidi responds better when allowed to come to you and does not wish to have anyone pet her back/rear area (her foster home is working on getting to know her so they can determine whether she has any discomfort, etc.), so small children would not be appropriate for her. She had a few sores on her underside that are being treated, so grooming is occuring in stages.

Heidi is getting a good grooming and will have updated pictures real soon. She is very timid right now and would do best in a quiet home without children. She is heartworm negative :)
