Moose is a big beautiful black boy who is looking for his forever home. He is 3 years old and weighs in at 73 lbs. Moose's family was moving and they couldn't take Moose with them so they surrendered him to a local shelter. Poor guy - he is such a nice boy and he just didn't understand. Moose is a very social boy and likes all his 4-legged canine friends. He likes to romp and play in the yard and his favorite game is 'catch me if you can.' He is usually the leader of the pack. Fetch is another of his favorite things - he loves chasing after the tennis ball. He would be considered medium energy. Moose also likes quiet times and hanging out with his people. He thrives on the good boy praise that he gets and his tail goes a mile a minute when he sees those good boy treats. Moose is very smart and is very focused. He would be a great candidate for training classes. Long walks or runs in the park would make Moose a very happy boy. He does extremely well on a lead and just likes to stay close while walking. Moose has been well socialized with men, women and older children. He would like nothing more than to have a loving home of his own and would be a loyal family companion. Moose is neutered, heartworm negative, up to date on vaccinations including rabies and micro-chipped. He has been kept on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. Moose is also crate trained. He is a little rough on the kitties, so would not recommend a home with cats.
