Heartley came to us at Noah’s Bark very pregnant, in danger of going to the shelter, if not for two special Animal Control Officers, who knew the fate that she and her babies would face there. We think now that Heartley was past her due date, possibly holding her babies inside her until she knew she could safely deliver them. Just 48 hours after being in her foster home, she gave birth to 8 beautiful little pups. They are eating on their own and driving mom crazy, and she is ready to find her forever home as the pups will be adopted in the next few weeks.
Heartley has a wonderful disposition. She is wonderful with all other dogs, big and small, and with children. She is potty trained and loves to go for walks. She deserves to experience the love of a family and a safe, warm place to sleep each night that she can call her forever home.
Heartley is a pit bull mix, approximately 3 years old.Our adoptions are restricted to residents of Los Angeles and Orange Counties. We do not ship animals or do long distance adoptions.
