My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

A Good Samaritan mom and daughter were driving along Royal at Central when they saw three small dogs running along the street. In their efforts to corral the three, they happened to chase them into the neighborhood of two ELPO volunteers who joined the rescue. With four determined rescuers, the 3 had no chance. Chicken nuggets and treats were used to get the three close enough to leash. The mother of the other two was doing everything she could to protect her babies (full grown babies, but her responsibility nonetheless) but lost out to the rescuers. The two pups were put into a carrier, and the Mom willingly followed just to be with her pups. Upon arrival the little family relaxed and seemed to breathe a sigh of relief to be off the street. Off the street and hopefully soon into a home that will provide safety and love the rest of their lives.
