Hugo's Story...
Meet Hugo! Hugo is a 1 1/2 year old Russian Blue who is up for adoption! Hugo is a regular lover boy. He's OBSSESED with people. He was found as a stray in an area where he had been living for months before someone brought him in. The fact that Hugo is so friendly and loving, despite being a stray for so long, makes us believe he was abandoned when his family moved away. Hugo is hilarious. He looks so grumpy, but don't let that face fool you ... he's the happiest boy ever. He loves to be pet, and if you even look in his direction, he starts kneading the air until you touch him. Hugo will make the perfect friend for anyone looking for a loving companion.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Care for Animals is located at 2944 Post Rd. Warwick, RI 02886. You are welcome to visit during hospital hours. Our hours are Monday 8-7, Tuesday — Thursday 8-5 and Friday 9-3. We’re also happy to set up weekend appointments.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hugo, a Warwick Russian Blue cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Russian Blue for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Russian Blue cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Russian Blue breeders who help with Russian Blue rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
