My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gorgeous Cheyenne is a 2 year old spayed female German Shepherd. Cheyenne has not had it easy since she came to us as a pup with her sister (who was adopted into a forever home as a pup). Cheyenne was also adopted but, through no fault of her own, she was returned. She was then placed into a long-term foster home until changes in the home caused her to suffer from severe anxiety. We moved her to another foster home where she has received the care she required and she has just blossomed! Cheyenne has lost some much-needed weight, her coat and skin are beautiful and, most important, she has learned to love life again! Cheyenne suffers from mild hip dysplasia but with good weight and regular normal exercise, she should live a long healthy life without any symptoms or pain.

In her safe environment,Cheyenne is happy to greet people, tail up and wagging, loving attention. She trots around the yard with ease and confidence and enjoys playing fetch.

Cheyenne is now ready for a special forever home where she can meet the challenges present in a less isolated environment and be exposed to new sights, sounds and situations and then can continue to build more confidence in any and all situations. Cheyenne is good with other dogs - especially males, ignores cats, is house & crate trained. A wonderful girl that so deserves a chance at a happy forever life with a loving family of her own!
