Cadence is a 9.2 lb. Brussels Griffon/Terrier mix who may also be mixed with some Affenpinscher. She was rescued from the Devore Animal Shelter. She has a GORGEOUS coloring – a mix of dark and lighter browns meshed with some gray, and white markings. Her hair is naturally shorter, and her grooming needs are minimal. Cadence is listed as age two but based on her teeth as well as her behavior she strikes me as being closer to age one and a half. Cadence is shy and timid initially but warms up and gets comfortable in just a few days. She is a very loving and sweet dog. She loves to be with people and snuggle right up to you. She is potty-trained (however potty reinforcement is needed in any new environment) and crate trained (however she dislikes the crate). Cadence likes playing with the other dogs. She is lively and semi-active, without being hyper. Cadence is an easy dog who will be perfect for someone who wants a companion. She needs more leash work and could benefit from wearing a small harness when walking her. Cadence’s best fit is where she could have another dog as her friend when her people are gone to work, or even as an only dog in the home whereby her people are not gone for long hours daily.
