Little matted dogs are just being dumped left and right lately:( Seymour was found abandoned in a box in terrible condition. His eyes were matted shut and his whole body was encased in thick mats. He was loaded with fleas and suffering from flea allergies and skin infections. Our vet had to shave his face just to examine him, and discovered under the mats he is blind, likely due to a congenital defect, although he seems to be fairly young, maybe 3-4 years old. Despite his neglect and abandonment he is a sweet social trusting little shih Tzu who will make a wonderful companion for someone who will make sure he is never neglected again. Blind dogs adjust very well once they are in a familiar place and in a routine and this special boy deserves someone to love him. He gets along with other dogs and loves everyone he meets. Please submit an application if you are interested in this cutie.

We do not have a shelter- all our pets are in foster homes and can be seen by appointment only during the week, or at our weekly pet adoptions every Sunday at the Animal Clinic of Morris Plains from 12:30 to 3PM at 3009 Route 10 East next to 5 Star Car Wash (formerly Boulder Car Wash) in Morris Plains (Denville on GPS).
