Marlon's Story...
Hi I'm Marlon and I am looking for a new place to call my own. I love to play with other puppies, belly rubs and a soft bed to lay on to chew my toys. I am hoping to find a family that has a great yard to play in and lay about in the summer and play in the snow in the winter. I am looking forward to seeing snow in New England and playing in all the leaves in the fall. If I sound like your kinda pup drop me an application and let's meet.
Please fill out an application BEFORE asking questions about a particular dog at www.whiteriveranimalrescue.org

NOTE: . WRAR will only adopt a puppy (under 5 months of age) to adopters that are either home ALL day long or can bring the puppy to work. There are NO exceptions to this. WRAR only adopts to adults over the age of 25.Our adoption donation is $450.00, this covers vetting and transport.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marlon, a Stafford Springs Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Stafford Springs, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Stafford Springs.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Stafford Springs already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Stafford Springs breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Stafford Springs paves the way for another one to be saved.
