There are some dogs who are so gentle and kind, it's hard to believe that someone isn't frantically searching for them. That's Jenny's story: brought into a shelter as a stray and never claimed; week after week, no one at all looking for her. A girl as friendly and attentive as she must have known the love of someone special in her past, but at this point even she seems resigned to the fact that no one is going to come get her. Jenny is very docile and submissive with other dogs and she's been wonderful with even the youngest of the visiting school-aged children. She has never shown anything but sweetness with everyone -- human and canine. She's happy to let the other dogs be the boss -- the role as "follower" suits her just fine! She is just about a year old and still gets her bouts of the "puppy crazies" every now and then, which is totally age appropriate and really pretty adorable to see her kick up her heels!! Jenny weighs about 50 pounds, possibly with a little more filling out to do, and she is a very healthy girl. We are hoping that someone will see all that Jenny has to offer and give her a home where she will be safe and blossom.
