Hi there. My name is Angel. I am about 11 months old and I weigh about 40 lbs.
I was originally brought in to the pound as a stray from the Lisbon area. I was adopted shortly after, but returned because I didn't really "click" with my whole family. I was fearful of her (older) son. I was also the same with the older son who came home from College. She said I was the greatest dog aside from not being very personable with the sons. She said that I was completely house trained, that I loved sleeping in bed and that I loved her period.
I am just very standoffish around new men at first. I just need time to warm up to everyone. It does take me a little longer to make up to men, but I really am a nice girl once I do. I absolutely love the guy who works here at the pound. I cuddle with him and go up to him for attention and everything!
So then I was adopted again... They had me for a couple of weeks, but I didn't really "work out" there either and was returned again.
So what I need is a family who will have some patience with me. A family who will train and socialize me with people. I love to go for car rides, so I could even go to Tractor Supply or the park a couple of times a week to mix and mingle with new people to help me learn that nobody is "out to get me" so to speak.
I am a very sweet girl here at the pound!! I like hanging out in the office. I love just lounging around on chairs. Preferably chairs with people in them. I like to get behind the girls here at the pound in the office chairs and sleep while they're working. Warm and comfy! I also like being in the office because I LOVE other dogs. I like to run around and have a friend to play with!! So, if you have another dog, that'd be fabulous 'cause I love 'em!!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER MARCH 23, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY SPAY SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
