Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sometimes you meet a dog and think, "wow, just wow." Lexi is one of those dogs. Where to begin to describe her: sweet, affectionate, incredibly smart, dying to please, VERY cuddly, gentle, playful, fun...it goes on and on. This 2 year old petite american staffordshire terrier mix (she's about 45 lbs) brings nothing but joy to your day. Did we mention that she LOVES other dogs, big and small, AND is great with cats?
Lexi shares her foster home with 3 cats and a chihuahua with attitude, and is nothing but gentle and loving toward them, even when the cats get testy and swat at her -- no joke! Lexi is very people-oriented and needs a family who appreciates her belief that she is actually a small lap dog.
But for how much she loves people, she has no separation anxiety issues -- she is home without people all day in her foster home and is always well behaved. Lexi is healthy, up to date on her shots, and ready to find "home."
Lexi still has a lot of puppy in her, and could use some work on keeping her excitement in check. But given how smart she is, she will pick up anything she is taught in no time. Lexi is a once in a lifetime find, and can't wait to be the perfect addition to her new forever home!
