I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.
Sinatra and his siblings were surrendered to a high kill rural shelter in Kentucky at 6 weeks of age. Sinatra's mother was a Cattle Dog and dad was a Basset Hound and all of the puppies took after dad. Sinatra has been a favorite since he arrived with his Basset Hound good looks and confident personality. A typical hound, his nose is always going and he really enjoys his off leash hikes and smelling everything. He is going to be a big boy as Basset Hounds can get up there in weight but we tend to think of them as medium sized because of their short legs. Sinatra is just a very happy, healthy pup with a good attitude. He has been socialized to all types of dogs and cats and does well with all. He will give way to a more aggressive puppy but will stand his ground stubbornly with a huge sense of fairness. He does not like bad manners from others one bit...because he has very good manners. He's a perfect family dog, playful and charming and sure to be good with everyone.
His adoption fee is $325 to help offset the costs of getting him all ready for adoption. For more info or to request an application, contact Becca at firstname.lastname@example.org. Sinatra will be available to meet his pre-approved adopter at an upcoming event in Hagerstown, MD.
