Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Frodo. He has a story similar to our Hope, the dog that symbolizes why we rescue. He, like Hope, was used as a bait dog. He came to us with a broken leg that healed incorrectly, bite marks and wounds all over his body, and underweight. We could tell how overjoyed he was when he finally became a part of a real family! Even though his last "family" was abusive and neglectful, we have no doubt he did everything he could to please them. He is the same way with his foster family. He is crate and house trained, does well with ALL dogs, kids and even cats! He is a stalky dude, so older kids would be best, as he tends to knock over the little ones. With his injuries, too, we want to make sure he doesn't get rough-housed too much. He is more of a people dog than a dog-dog. He likes other dogs, but would be happy as an only dog as well. 100% of his people's attention is what he loves! Our goal is to find Frodo the kind of home we found for Hope. He deserves to be spoiled and loved unconditionally.
