Dasher(ADOPTED!)'s Story...
DASHER HAS BEEN ADOPTED! Dasher is a sweet, adorable 2 month old female Lab/Golden Retriever mix in search of a loving home. Dasher and her sister vixen, were rescued from a pound in southern IL where they were turned in after homes could not be found for them. Shortly after arriving in foster care, the sisters came down with parvo, a devastating puppy disease. They are fighters however and both have pulled through and will be ready for new homes soon. These girls have had a rough start in life, but are now ready for new beginnings. Please email animaladoption@hotmail.com if you would like to give one of these girls a home. Dasher's adoption fee is $350 which covers her vaccinations, micochip and spay. An application and contract is required.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dasher(ADOPTED!), a Chicago Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
