My story

Keiko is adorable. Besides the cute orange tabby thing he’s got going, Keiko can go from a snuggly, affectionate lap cat to a mischievous, playful orange blur within the blink of an eye!

Keiko loves, loves his people. This friendly guy will come right over to rub up against you in greeting. He loves to sit in laps where he can happily receive all of the chin/head scratches, ear rubs, and full on body massage petting his person can offer before their hands give out in exhaustion! Your efforts will be rewarded with massive purring, the telltale squinty eyes of a cat who is in a state of pure bliss, and the warmth of his furry body snuggling as close to you as possible.

Keiko loves, loves his playtime. He’ll chase anything you throw for him, but takes particular enjoyment in running after balls. Wand toys of all types, feather, swizzle, and those with stuffed objects attached to the end of them, taunt him endlessly. Keiko will play with them until your arm is no longer able to wave it around! If that should happen, no worries – Keiko loves other friendly kitties and loves engaging them in play sessions. Keiko will chase after his friends and get chased by his friends – all in good fun – especially if a wrestling match ensues! Be warned, if you are lying on the floor while Keiko and his friends are chasing one another, you will be trampled.

Some other fun facts about Keiko…he likes playing in cat tunnels, sometimes he has traction problems where he looks like he is running in place before he actually goes somewhere, and he makes the cutest, random “err” noises as he’s wandering about the room.
