My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Promise and I am a 2 year old pit bull. A few months ago I was left to starve to death in a backyard for over a month. I honestly thought that my time was up and I was going to cross the Rainbow Bridge. I was nothing but bones and was so weak I could hardly walk. On Halloween day 2013 at about 11:30 the gate to my prison opened and there were two ladies, here to save me. They had brought food and showed me love for the first time in a long time. They PROMISED me that I was going to be okay and that they were here to help me. I spent several days at the vet being fed small meals and my tiny body only weighed in at 23lb. Its now February 2014 and I am looking so much better at 43lb! I am now looking for a loving forever home so I can have my happy ending. I would do best as an only dog and I so enjoy going to my training classes each week so I can better myself. A family that would take me and enjoy it as much as I do would be amazing! The nice rescue ladies said that they are more than happy to cover the expense of my classes as they just want me to be the best dog ever and have a great life. I don’t dwell on the past, I love family life and want to be part of one so bad. I Promise I will make my new family proud.
