These two need a forever home where they will get lots of petting and attention. Calypso (we call her Pipsy) loves to be pet and really likes to be held too! Pipsy will start nudging your feet the minute you walk into her pen to make sure you acknowledge her. As a reward, she will give you lots of nose bumps and nudges to show you how much she appreciates you. When we first introduced Bernard (Nard) to Pipsy he was very shy and skittish. For months, he would run when he would see us and watch from a corner as Pipsy got lots of attention. One day Nard decided that this petting thing might be something he would like too. So he came over, sat next to Pipsy, put his head on the ground and waited for some attention. He quickly discovered he likes petting, bunny massages and attention. Now when we come into the room, Nard runs to the front of his pen and put his paws up the minute he sees us. He loves attention almost as much as he loves Pipsy. These are two of the sweetest buns ever! They need a loving home where they will get lots and lots of attention. Pipsy is a Fuzzy Lop which means that her fur both grows and slightly sheds so she will need grooming to remain the beautiful Princess she is! Specifically, she needs to have her fur trimmed every three or four weeks to prevent it from becoming matted and unsanitary – we will be glad to teach you how to do this yourself and we do have grooming appointments available at the Rabbit Center. That really is a small price to pay for the companionship of two such fun, adventurous, adorable buns who will love you as much as you love them.
