Maggie's Story...
Hi my name is Maggie. I am a sweet 1 yr old girl who loves attention, loves to be pet and is curious about everything. I don't mind being brushed or held and I purr really loud. When I first came into rescue I had a bad case of fleas and lost a lot of hair but now my coat is coming back in super soft and luxurious. I would love a home where I can get lots of attention and treats.

My adoption fee 50.00

All cats and kittens are feline leukemia tested (FeLeuk) and are also tested for feline immuno virus (FIV). Each cat or kitten receives the FVRCP vaccine; if a kittens stay with us is long enough, two or three boosters will be given after the initial vaccination. All cats and older kittens are spayed or neutered prior adoption.

In the case of kittens not old enough to be safely sterilized, a $50 deposit is required at the time of adoption along with the adoption fee and is refunded to the adopter with proof of sterilization.

Four Paws 2 Rescue requires every adopter to establish an active relationship with a veterinarian no later than 10 days after adoption. Adopters will receive a plan for routine veterinary care at the time of adoption and are expected to work with their vet to complete the plan.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Battle Creek Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Battle Creek, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Battle Creek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Battle Creek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Battle Creek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Battle Creek paves the way for another one to be saved.
