My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Miss Bea, she's a approx. 6-8 year old Rat Terrier Mix. She's a small little lady at only 12 pounds and will not get any bigger, but at mid life she may put on a few extra pounds but we won't mention that to her if she does. Bea was left behind in a house with 18 other dogs after their owner passed away. A family member kept them locked in a room and came a couple times a week to throw some food in at them. Despite that she has no food aggression at all but she does have a skin allergy that we are trying to clear up, could have been from stress, poor living conditions or maybe just a poor diet. We will continue to clear this up and I am sure in time it will be resolved, hopefully just with diet. We are also working on no inside potty accidents which also should not be a problem with regular potty breaks, who knows she may never have been outside before. Even though Miss Bea is a little of an older gal, she still has spunk to her. She'll get all worked up when I get my coat to leave for work and when she knows she's going to eat. I have to reassure her that it's ok, I'll be back. A home where she'll be with someone most of the day would be best for Miss Bea and even though she's not afraid of my husband at all, she seems to be most comfortable with a woman. For the most part she's laid back and just enjoys a soft blanket to lay on most of the day or when I'm home in my lap. If you are thinking about adding a new furry friend to your home, please consider Miss Bea and call Jody at 708 268-6965 to answer any of your questions about her. Miss Bea is spayed, up to date on her vaccines and on heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $150.00 which also includes a microchip with registration.
