Zeta's Story...
Pretty Zeta was dumped off on a farm in Catawissa during the cold winter. She was injured with an abscess on her back, alone, scared, and hungry. Zeta was different than the other barn cats though. She was very warm and friendly and the kind folks that saw her did not want to see her get hit on the road like so many of the other barn cats had in the past. Luckily she was helped by the family and treated at the vet until we could take her in. Zeta is a calm 1-2 year old female black and white tuxedo cat. She seems laid back and likes to sit back and observe. She is long and lean and wears a white bib and mits which contrast against her shiny black fur. She likes attention and being pet. Zeta is FeLV/FIV negative, up to date on shots, dewormed, litter trained and spayed. If you are interested in adopting Zeta please contact Michelle at 570-759-0920.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Zeta, a Bloomsburg Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Bloomsburg, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Bloomsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
