Chuck's Story...
Chuck and and his sister Lucy were born around January 5th, then dumped in the shelter with their mama, who had other babies retained inside of her. An emergency c-section was performed, but it was too late for the other
babies. In spite of mama's hardship, Chuck & Lucy have been thriving since birth! They are such precious brindle babies with the most cuddly personalities, thanks to awesome socialization by their foster mama.
We are guessing Chuck & Lucy will be in the 50 pound range when fully grown.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chuck, a La Habra Heights Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog for sale in La Habra Heights, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in La Habra Heights.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in La Habra Heights already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a La Habra Heights breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in La Habra Heights paves the way for another one to be saved.
