Here's what the humans have to say about me:
DOB January 1, 2010. O'Malley is a stunning 4 year old grey and white boy that was surrendered to a rural shelter. He was very sad and confused as his entire life was turned upside down. This poor boy was not doing well in the shelter environment; he cried and pined for his family. He missed them desperately. TCR was notified of this sweet boys plight; within days he was rescued and placed into a loving foster home. This adorable gentle cat has never looked back. He has made great friends with all of his feline foster buddies, he thinks the two labs are very silly and he adores his human foster family.
O'Malley is a wonderful and charming companion cat. He follows his people from room to room and lays at their feet while they are eating, working at the computer or watching TV.
O'Malley is a bit of a scardy cat. When there is commotion or strange noise O'Malley as big as he is will stand on guard while one of his friends goes to check out the situation. When he gets the all clear he happily follows the other cats to the excitement. He is simply goofy and so funny. We have enjoyed every single minute O'Malley has been with us,
He has excellent table and counter manners, uses his litter pan with perfection. He loves his scratching post, adores his cat nip but his favorite by far are the early morning temptation cat treats.
O'Malley is one of those special cats who wants to be close to his people, he likes to snuggle up on the sofa or a cozy pillow. He prefers not to be picked up; he would rather come running to you for some cuddles on his own four little paws.
This gorgeous laid back boy will do well in an easy going quiet home. O'Malley would love to live with another gentle cat to show him the ropes and make him feels safe and comfortable.
A note from O'Malley's foster mom: "O'Malley you have been the most wonderful house guest, you are a very special boy that deserves to have all of your kitty dreams come true..thank you for allowing us to share in your rescue journey."
