Meet Mudd! He is a gorgeous brindle boy with some white markings. He is a nuzzler and will rub against you to get pets or your attention. When he is not playing he can be a great snuggler. He likes to play with squeaky toys and loves to play fetch. Mudd. He likes to play with other dogs and will get down on his elbows with his butt in the air to initiate playtime. He also wags his tail so hard that his whole back side will sway with his tail. He needs some basic training but he is food motivated so that makes training easier. He will give you puppy dog eyes and wants to play, play, play. He would do well in a home with another dog who likes to play and older kids since he is still a bouncy young dog. He will need daily exercise to keep him happy. Can you give Mudd the home he deserves?;l

Unless otherwise indicated, all Double Dog Rescue dogs have received the following before being available for adoption:
Thorough veterinary examination
All routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kkennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming
Spay/Neuter
All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease.
If any dog shows any signs of disease or ailment, DDR vets the dog until he or she has a clean bill of health to the best of our knowledge. This includes anything from being treated for Heartworm, Broken Leg, Cherry Eye, Torn ACL, Upper Respiratory etc.)
NOTE: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 months after last treatment. All dogs are immediately put on Heartguard/Ivermectin following the treatment to kill the Heartworm larvae. All dogs should be re-tested after 4 months from the last Heartworm treatment.
