Valentino's Info...

I am already neutered and up to date with shots.

Valentino's Story...
It's been a hard winter for Valentino. He's been out on the street for who-knows how long (though he looks to be about 6 months old). When a kind person took him in on Valentine's Day, he had frostbite on all of his toes! Now he's on the mend, but through it all he's been the sweetest little guy.

He's very into people, has no problem being handled (see the photos!) and would make a great companion. Let's make sure his paws never get cold again.

Val is neutered, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Valentino, a Brooklyn American Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Shorthair for sale in Brooklyn, or seeking a American Shorthair cat from a breeder in Brooklyn.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brooklyn already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brooklyn breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Shorthair breeders who help with American Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brooklyn paves the way for another one to be saved.
