Armani's Story...
Armani is a sweet, youngster that we've had for a few weeks now because he needed special surgery. Poor Armani was born with deformed genitals and he needed a small adjustment so there would be enough of an opening to properly urinate. He's healed well and is doing great so he's ready for a new home. The shelter aged him at 7 months old but he may be closer to 10 months. The good news is that Armani is great with all other dogs as well as sweet and submissive with people. He can sometimes be quite the chicken so he needs a little help with his confidence but he is affectionate and very patient. We don't believe that he has had a lot of training but he is now crate trained and we've been helping him learn how to walk on leash.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Armani, a Fillmore Doberman Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Doberman Pinscher for sale in Fillmore, or seeking a Doberman Pinscher dog from a breeder in Fillmore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fillmore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fillmore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Doberman Pinscher breeders who help with Doberman Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fillmore paves the way for another one to be saved.
