Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is a courtesy post for A Leg Up Rescue. If you are interested in this dog please go to there website at www.aleguprescue.org and complete an online application.
Jack is a wonderful Toy Fox Terrier, Chihuahua mix. In his mind he is not a Chihuahua and acts completely like a terrier. He is very playful, loves to run and play with toys. He very much enjoys interacting with other dogs his size. He can be too much for other Chihuahuas unless you have a very active Chi. Jack is approximately 3 years old, he weighs 4 ½ pounds and needs a yard to play in. He is not an apartment dog.
Jack is an awesome dog, charming, loveable and even though he is a terrier he still likes to cuddle and give kisses. He also likes a warm lap. He gets very cold so he likes sleeping under a blanket and he wears a jacket when it’s cold outside. He can be a little shy when he first meets you but will quickly overcome that with food.
He would be great for someone looking for a little dog who wants to be active with walking and hiking. Even though he is little he is mighty and very loyal. He is housebroken but definitely needs a little training. As with most terriers he is very comical and will make you laugh for hours on end.
