for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Sophie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sophie's Story...
This little blue-eyed beauty is Sophie, a 1-2 year old Spaniel mix -- there may be some Papillon in there, too. She's on the small side, 12-15 lbs., leggy and slender and very active. And what a sweetheart!

Sophie came in as a stray to the City of Carpinteria and is now in foster care. She really likes other dogs, does fine with cats, and has been good with an eight- year old child. She's friendly and outgoing, likes car rides, is crate trained, and is housebroken. She's just a really great little dog!

Sophie is already spayed and fully vaccinated, so she is ready to go home as soon as the right adopter comes along. The adoption fee is $75 -- a great deal when you consider that you get a young, healthy, active dog plus $400-500 worth of vet care!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Carpinteria Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon for sale in Carpinteria, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon dog from a breeder in Carpinteria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carpinteria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carpinteria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type)/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carpinteria paves the way for another one to be saved.
