Royce's Story...
Believed to be around 3 years old, this gorgeous guy was a stray that went unclaimed in a local shelter. He is an absolute sweetheart that loves to cuddle, is good with other dogs (has not been cat tested), is calm but needs obedience training, doesn't counter-surf, but will steal your pizza if you sit your plate down on the coffee table when he's in the room (well, duh!)! He is house trained and a joy to have around. AND he's on the smaller side at around 100 pounds! If you would be interested in adopting Royce, please fill out and submit an on line adoption application from our web site at www.sunnysaints.org and you will be contacted shortly.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Royce, a Bellflower St. Bernard dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a St. Bernard for sale in Bellflower, or seeking a St. Bernard dog from a breeder in Bellflower.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellflower already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellflower breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even St. Bernard breeders who help with St. Bernard rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellflower paves the way for another one to be saved.
