My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rambo has been characterized as a young, drop-dead gorgeous purebred Rottweiler with all the charm you could possibly dream about in a single attractive canine. He is neutered, house-trained, up-to-date on his shots, Rambo has been estimated as right around 1 year old age by his vet. He just weighed in at 108 pounds and he is thin. He could stand to gain a few pounds. I have a feeling that Rambo will fill out to weigh about 140 pounds when he is done growing. Rambo started out with a rough life. At his young age, he already has calluses on his elbows, knees and his butt. Calluses at such a young age can only mean that he was contain in an area that only gave him a choice of concrete, or more likely rocks, to lay or sit on. His poor elbows have pockets of fluid surrounding them to try to protect them from anymore trauma caused by him laying on them on the hard surfaces that he has had to lay on. Apparently, Rambo was not pleased with this living arrangement and decided to bail. He wandered into a business yard and wouldn't leave. After over a week taking up residency there without any word of an owner, they called rotten rottie rescue and we took him into rescue. He has been introduced to many dogs. In fact he recently spent about 4 days at chandler dog 24/7 which is a cage free boarding facility and he had no issues with any of the other dogs that were in his play room. He seems to do good with all dogs. He seems to do well with cats too. At least he could care less about the cat that we introduced him too.. He loves to run, and jump and chase a ball. He is not recommended with young children.

This delightful dog is learning basic commands and although he has not had any accidents in the house, he may need some help with potty training. We have not given him the opportunity to go potty in the house.
