Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Molly was born in 2009, part of a litter that was born in an orange grove. Mom and dad were taken away by animal services, who apparently didn't realize the puppies were there. While finding homes for her siblings, we found her scared under a dilapidated home and decided to keep her and work with her. As opposed to her siblings, it took her a while to get used to humans besides my wife and I. But eventually, it worked and she is now much loved and actually a little famous in the neighborhood as the survivor dog.
As far as a best home for her, no young children. They seem to scare her for some reason. She has been in a home on 5 fenced acres with multiple animals -- dogs and horses -- and hasn't had a problem with any. It would be really good if she could be rewarded as the only dog in a home of teens and adults. She would really thrive, I believe. The only reason I am bringing her from Florida to Ohio is to deal with her allergy to bahiagrass, which is pasture grass south of the Mason-Dixon line. She is extremely allergic to it and breaks out when it begins to grow each spring.
Her breed is what I lovingly call a purebred Florida Brown Dog, basically Florida's mutt.
Please contact Shannon at 440 610 0307 if you would like to meet Molly.
