My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Matti came to us from Animal Control where she had been found wandering around the campus of Uof I. WE dont know her story- we do know she is very gentle and sweet. Her foster mom says she will go to the door to ring the bell to go potty-so is house trained. She rides well in a car, is crate trained also. When we 1st got her she was so traumatized by being lost that she just stood frozen in place and you had to pick her up to take her anywhere. Before going to foster home the kennel staff said she was starting to come up to the door wagging her tail and liking the attention they gave her. She knows what a soft dog bed is-she will curl up and go to sleep. She is a quiet dog. Foster mom says is kind hearted and loving. She is in foster home with 3 dogs and a cat. The vet says she is around 18 months of age. She is spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, heartworm negative and microchipped. The rescue pays the microchip enrollment fee. She would make a great therapy dog or dog for an older person also. The vet thinks she could have some Pug in her because she has an underbite like they do. She weighs 14 pounds. We really don't know what breed she is- other than a wire coated terrier who is small and needs a loving home.
