My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful Maine Coon mix 4 year old has a story. Shakespeare was brought into a local vet by his former owners - his left rear leg was broken in three places. Times being what they are, they said to euthanize him because they couldn't afford the amputation fee. We are very fortunate to have caring, compassionate vets - they asked the owners to surrender him & proceeded w/ the amputation at their expense. After one week of recuperation, Shakespeare was turned over to ABC. When Board member, Nancy, went to pick him up, he put his arms around her giving her a big "kitty hug." Shakespeare is in a foster home, he does not realize that he has only three legs. He has no problem running up & down the stairs & jumping on to the furniture or bed. He is such a loving cat, enjoys cuddling & will gently put his paw on his foster mom's face in bed.

Each of All 'Bout Cats adoptables receive the very best medical care and evaluation. Each cat is thoroughly examined by a veterinarian; spayed/neutered; fully age appropriate vaccinated; tested for FeLV and FIV; and microchipped.

It is the policy of All 'Bout Cats, Inc. that potential adopters fill out an Adoption Survey in order to be considered to be a forever home. We reserve the right to determine the best home for each cat based upon the interview process. One of our Cat Adoption Team members will conduct the interview and review your survey. It is possible that they may recommend a different cat more suitable for your household. Going through this process is not a guarantee of approval of a particular cat. All 'Bout Cats, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any adoption that isn't in the best interest of the cat based upon standardized policies and procedures of our organization. Once the process is complete, we will then arrange for you to visit your desired cat.
