HUDSON's Story...
Hudson is a Havanese/Maltese Mix who is about 3 years old and weighs about 15 lbs. He is a precious, loving, quiet and calm dog that absolutely loves to be loved on! He follows his foster Mom wherever she goes. He lays at her feet and has to actually be invited up on the furniture. We are pretty sure that Hudson's previous owner's left him out back all of the time without any attention given to him. He gets along great with other dogs, is good on a leash. Hudson is HW NEGATIVE, he will be neutered, vaccinated and microchipped before he finds his forever home. He would make the sweetest addition to a family or single person and really would prefer his human to be home with him during the day as he does not care much for the crate.

HSR Adoption Fee: $250

Vetting: Up to date on Shots, Rabies, HW NEGATIVE, Neutered and Microchipped too!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

HUDSON, a Fort Worth Havanese/Maltese dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Maltese for sale in Fort Worth, or seeking a Havanese/Maltese dog from a breeder in Fort Worth.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Worth already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Worth breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Maltese breeders who help with Havanese/Maltese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Worth paves the way for another one to be saved.
