Brody's Story...
Brody was abandoned with his brother on a front doorstep. His brother was immediately placed in a home and Brody came to us. This little guy is a perfect 10 on the "love you" scale! He absolutely loves to be held and has enough kisses for you and everyone in your family. He appears to have Pug in him but we aren't sure what else. He is under four months old and is currently 14 lbs. You just won't believe this super sweetie:) Oh, and when he has to potty, he lets you know by whining to go out. That's a bonus in the puppy world! Brody is currently being fostered at the Southeaster Correctional Complex/Hocking Unit in Nelsonville, OH. He can be seen, by appt only, M-F between 7am and 2:30pm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brody, a Nelsonville Pug puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug for sale in Nelsonville, or seeking a Pug puppy from a breeder in Nelsonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Nelsonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Nelsonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug breeders who help with Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Nelsonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
