Dixie is an adorable hound mix, approximately 6 months old and weighs about 20 pounds. Dixie is a friendly, loyal little girl who will have you whistling Dixie all day long! She’s a good combination of active puppy and snuggle partner. She runs and plays to her heart’s content and then settles down to enjoy your company and give you lots of love. Once adopted, you'll soon see she will always be your faithful canine companion.

Dixie mostly chews only her toys and is quiet and content being crated at night and when left alone. Her house training is going well, and she already knows some commands, so we think she’s a quick learner. She also gets along well with other dogs she has met.

Since she's still a young puppy, Dixie needs a family where someone is home at least part of the day, to complete her potty-training, continue her socialization and take her to puppy school.

Dixie's adoption fee of $310 includes: Vet exam, DAPP Distemper combination, Rabies and Bordetella vaccinations, flea control, deworming, heartworm test: Negative, microchip and spay.
